Senator Saslaw on how to make the police your friend…
Senator Dick Saslaw made this remark:
“What normal person walks around with a gun on your hip? Something’s wrong in your life” if you feel compelled to carry a gun as part of your daily routine, he said. -=SOURCE=-
OH REALLY?
As a police officer, I can assure you that there is nothing wrong in my life (to this level), but I do feel compelled to carry a weapon (gun) as part of my daily routine.
What a moronic statement. Clearly thought all the way through… Sheeesh…
I know I know Senator Saslaw… that’s not what you meant. And now you will try to explain it away. Like sniper fire or whacky preachers.
I wonder what Delegate Bobby Mathieson, Retired Master Police Officer from Virginia Beach feels about this? Delegate Mathieson, you were issued a concealed carry permit when you retired (I assume). Do you still carry concealed? Is there something wrong in your life if you do?
What about you Senator Webb? Since you are such fine example of leadership and gun ownership? How do YOU feel about this? Do you still have YOUR concealed carry permit?
