Nifty forms plugin for stand alone WordPress installations

Filed under: Wordpress, bloggers, blogging — Scott @ 19:11 pm

I am a sucker for forms on websites. I’d have forms all over the place if I could justify a use for them and wouldn’t drive my three readers away demanding they fill them out. Forms is cool…

I was reading a recent article on plugins and tools to allow WordPress to be used as a Content Management System (vice just a blog) and this plugin was on the list.

From the website:

cforms is a plugin for Wordpress, offering convenient deployment of multiple contact forms throughout your blog or even on the same page. The form submission utilizes AJAX, falls back, however, to a standard method in case AJAX/Javascript is not supported or disabled. cforms II

It is a GREAT tool!

And you can put mulitple forms on one page!!! Like the comment form if you are on the single page view for this article. And the following forms.  Oh…  did I mention you can put forms INSIDE ARTICLES as well as on pages?

Contact Scott Form:

  1. (required)
  2. (valid email required)

Contact Andy Form:

  1. (required)
  2. (valid email required)

They can be simple like above, or complex applications. Even the complex forms are fairly easy to implement and run.

What an absolutely great find!!!
